SWAA is a four-field association of academic and applied professional anthropologists and students working around the world. Regionally centered in the southwestern states of California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona, our members’ interests span the width and breadth of anthropological interests and foci. Our goals are to encourage innovative research and promote public interest in all varieties of anthropological research. Our new website features all the same online features SWAA members have come to expect, including news from the world of anthropology, conference schedules, downloadable forms, and a downloadable version of the SWAA Newsletter. In addition, new features and functions will include the option to register and pay fees online, and new pages devoted to images from conferences and essays by SWAA members. We encourage you to explore the site and offer suggestions for improvement! The Executive Board of SWAA regards this as a work in progress, so please bear with us as we bring the site fully online.
