The European Peptide Society is a non-profit association established for the public benefit to promote in Europe and in neighbouring countries the advancement of education and scientific study of the chemistry, biochemistry, biology and pharmacology of peptides. The European Peptide Society was founded in 1989, primarily in order to ensure that the valuable but informal European Peptide Symposia should be continued on a sound basis. The Statutes state that it is a non-profit association established for the public benefit to promote in Europe and in certain neighbouring countries the advancement of education and in particular the scientific study of the chemistry, biochemistry, and biology of peptides. |
