Wormpost Vermont: Worm Composting & Vermiculture

Popularity:    Hit: 158 | Visit: 8
Details
Wormpost Vermont (formerly Wormpost Northeast) is a worm farm located in Morristown, the heart of Lamoille County, Vermont. We are located about 45 miles (or 1 hr) east of Burlington and 8-1/2 miles (15 minutes) north of Stowe. Here our staff of redworms, convert organics such as kitchen, paper and pet wastes into worm manure ("castings"). This process is known as vermicomposting. Owner Melissa Jordan has been vermicomposting since 2001, when she discovered that keeping an indoor worm bin was a lot more convenient than maintaining her outdoor compost pile during an icy New England winter.
