Description:

The Group aims are to refine and further develop chronostratigraphic concepts to allow the prediction of preserved sediment body geometry and architecture. The working tools are sedimentology, high resolution sequence stratigraphy, ichnology, biostratigraphy and other dating techniques with reference to all clastic depositional systems in all basin types. Datasets include both large-scale outcrop and subsurface 3-D seismic and wells.
